‘Lifeflows’ (the UK branch of Process Work Partnership Limited) is a group of international practitioners of Process Oriented Psychology (or Process Work as it is also called) committed to delivering high quality and integrative training, combining psychotherapeutic awareness, relationship conflict resolution, facilitation of group and minority issues.

We can send a man to the moon and probe into deep space, we can penetrate the nature of matter in sub-atomic physics or create tremendously powerful technologies These we can do, but we know very little about resolving conflict, how to handle emotions that tear us apart, or how to create sustainable and wholesome organisations and communities. How can we prevent war, whether in the home, the workplace or between countries and cultures? Intellectual knowledge is well developed but emotional awareness and field awareness are often under- developed, feared and ignored. In our experience unprocessed field dynamics and background feelings and emotions create bad communication, heavy atmospheres and block efficiency.
Our work spans the whole of life – our internal and external worlds, and includes work with:
- teenagers and young people
- relationship problems experienced by couples, families, colleagues, friends and in the work place.
- experiences of people nearing the end of their lives (ageing, relationships, friendships and intimacy, dealing with body changes and illness, living fully and dying with full awareness)
- community facilitation and conflict work
- working with those who provide services, formal and informal, paid and voluntary
Our dream in Lifeflows is to:
- encourage a deeper awareness that underlies our everyday consensus reality
- follow what moves and inspires us & brings us alive
- continually discover new patterns for emotional and psychological health and well-being found at the edge of the known
- developing exchange and new learning from the different relationship styles and expressions within the varied communities of the world
Given the appropriate tools and skills developed over many years in Process Work, we believe that nature will show the wisdom necessary to resolve even the most complex or entrenched problems. We feel the world needs more people who are interested in joining nature’s inherent creativity to help address the problems we face. The concept of deep democracy, that is, that resolution and growth are supported by bringing awareness to all the parts, mainstream or marginalised, obvious or more subtle, is central to our approach.
Together with helping to resolve problems in the community, we also research and provide training in four basic areas:
- Process Oriented child & family work
- Process Oriented relationship work
- Process Oriented training in problems associated with ageing, living fully and dying
- Process Oriented approach to organisational development
- Process Oriented Worldwork and facilitation.
Our goal is to provide holistic training so that an individual can stand in a situation and follow and track herself every moment in the midst of relationship dynamics, group life, and community issues; to be there in a way that can further community and bring advancement to fellow man.
Each training area includes addressing conflict resolution and rank and power dynamics, whether within couples, families, organisations, marginalised groups or the work place.
Choosing to research, consult and/or study with us, you may wish to organise your learning to suit your particular basic area of interest as named above, while at the same time including areas such as symptoms & body work, signals & communication, working with altered and extreme states, relationship worlds, near-death and coma states, dreamwork, worldwork (deep democracy, cultural dynamics and collective conflict around difference and diversity) and more.
Diversity Welcome Statement
- In Lifeflows all voices are not only welcome but needed – Deep Democracy.
- If you identify with a particular nationality, culture, race or ethnicity, your voice is needed.
- Whether you express yourself through same sex or heterosexual relationships, whether you have changed or are considering changing gender, or you cross dress, your voice is needed.
- If you have mental health issues, a physical disability or you are in good health, your voice is needed.
- In other words we believe that communities become whole when all experiences and perspectives are supported and expressed – and this also includes socio-economic differences, and varying advantages in education and training, employment, etc.
Lifeflows’ ethos accepts that although relationship is an integral part of life, we’re not only misty-eyed about it! As well as the ups and downs and bumps and falls which are part and parcel of relationship life, lack of relationship, loneliness, inability to maintain relationship, loss of relationship, whether through bereavement, divorce, Alzheimer’s, etc, can be challenging and difficult processes.
Process Work Partnership Ltd. is currently involved in providing sustainable training in UK, Slovakia, Russia, and Colombia.
Well done everyone! Evelyn just told me about Lifeflows and here you are. It looks fantastic. If you have a mailing list put me on it…
Lots of love
Moira
Hey Moira, so great to hear from you on here. Thanks for joining up, and looking forward to see what can emerge here.. xx Mark
Hi
This sounds really fresh. I like the simplicity of the language, refreshingly jargon-free. (difficult to avoid, especially when you’ve been in an environment so long you no longer notice it).
It’s sounds fun and made me laugh out loud (the zany wisdom heading – which I am about to check out!)
Hi Anne,
Thanks for your lovely feedback – hope you enjoyed Conor’s zany wisdom.
